I’ve gotten to work at some pretty beautiful places, but I think Lexi and Trevor’s Traverse City winery wedding venue takes the cake. Their wedding day seriously could not have been more perfect. Between the gorgeous scenery, the perfect summer day and all the little details, not a single thing was missed.

We headed up to Traverse City the Friday before their wedding. The forecast showed on and off rain all day long. I’m not kidding when I say I checked the radar like a maniac every 20 minutes praying it would blow by. And it did! Despite all odds the rain held off for their ceremony in front of acres and acres of vineyards and for most of their beautiful barn reception!

It’s not very often that I don’t get to meet my couples in person before the wedding day. But you’d never know this was Lexi and Trevor’s first time in front of my camera! The whole time I was there, their love and happiness was so evident and it shows. They were naturals and made my job so easy. I mean seriously Lexi and Trevor’s Traverse City wedding looks straight out of a bridal magazine.

I think my favorite part of their whole day though was their first dances. After Lexi and Trevor’s first dance, Lexi danced with her grandpa and then with her mom. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house when she danced with her grandpa. And there wasn’t a single guest whose face didn’t hurt from smiling after Lexi and her mom’s dance to “Head’s Carolina, Tails California.”

I could go on forever about how beautiful this Traverse City winery wedding was. For now I’ll leave you with all my favorites from Lexi and Trevor’s wedding and a huge congratulations to the newlyweds.
