The weather has not been on our side while planning Katie and Chris’s downtown rooftop engagement session. After postponing to the Spring because of the crazy cold a few months ago, it was still nearly freezing out and it definitely did not feel like the first weekend of Spring.

Regardless, Katie and Chris rocked their whole session! They made my job so easy! We had a blast walking around downtown and exploring some of my favorite spots. Even though our hands were numb, the smiles were so real between these two. Going back editing and looking at them you can just feel the energy in the best way possible!

Downtown Detroit has been a pretty popular spot for my 2022 couples, but I’m not complaining! With rooftop views like this, I could shoot here forever! And with couples like Katie and Chris, it makes it even better.

I’m so excited to get Katie and Chris back in front of my camera this fall after this rooftop engagement session. We’ll be coming downtown again to the Waterview Loft and the Renaissance Center (that you can see in the background of some of the last shots we took!)
