Emily and Zack’s black barn vineyard engagement session had me so excited from the minute I pulled up to the beautiful venue and until well after their gallery was delivered!

I traveled almost 2 hours for this engagement session so we could do it at their wedding venue in Jackson, Michigan! It was one of the most stunning venues I’ve been to with endless photo spots. So many, in fact, that we literally shot until we ran all the way out of sunlight! It was so fun because we were there at their wedding venue exactly 364 days before their wedding. I got to see how the light was gonna be on their wedding day, plan out some fun details, and it was pretty special all around to be there almost exactly a year out.

Emily shared that she has been looking forward to her wedding her entire life. So much so that she was a bride 3 years for Halloween when she was younger! She even had the barbie bride on top of her cake for her birthdays growing up! Emily’s been planning her wedding at the Black Barn with Zack before they got officially engaged. Knowing her wedding is a huge deal to her and always has been, made this one even more special to be a part of.
