Makaya and Seth’s engagement session at Stoney Creek Metropark was one I’ll never forget. These two were such a blast to work with and had me laughing the whole time. They were so sweet, easy-going, and loads of fun (aka a breath of fresh air for a photographer!) Plus, they were down to get any kind of shot, even when they had to balance on some uneven rocks next to the water… in heels! (I think we’d all agree it was worth it.)

Throughout the session, we joked about the eerie vibe of the abandoned grounds and agreed it was likely haunted. Now, this is a spot I frequent all the time and have never seen anything paranormal. Fast forward, I noticed some **orbs** in the shots in front of the exact spot we said was haunted! It was such a crazy coincidence (and may or may not affect my willingness to go back in the future.)

Makaya and Seth will be officially tieing the knot in May of 2023 at the Stonebridge Golf Course in Ann Arbor and I’m seriously counting down the days until I can get these two back in front of my camera again! If you’re looking for a unique wedding venue be sure to click here to see more.
