Selah and Don’s Detroit Institute of Arts engagement session was definitely one to remember. When Selah and Don told me they dreamed of their engagement session at the Detroit Institute of Arts, I was so down! It’s such a gorgeous location full of plenty of spots for photo ops. And that bright light and dreamy marble is right up my alley!

Fun fact about Selah is that she’s a lifestyle and travel blogger as well as a Youtuber, so working with her and bringing her vision to life was extra fun. The gorgeous buildings in Detroit and the even more gorgeous couple made this engagement session any photographer’s dream! We ended up starting the session exploring downtown Detroit, including Campus Martius. After, we ended at sunset at the Detroit Institute of Arts! Selah and Don’s wedding is in September of 2023 at the Detroit Colony Club, and I’m so excited! These two are both so sweet and were genuinely so excited to be engaged and for the whole engagement session experience as a whole!

This dreamy Detroit Institute of Arts engagement session really made me remember why I love my job so much. It made me remember that it’s about so much more than just pictures when you’re the one in front of the camera!
