Melissa and Ricky’s Spring Stoney Creek engagement session is one of my favorites to date! Their three adorable pups joined us at the end and made my entire night! It was pretty cloudy the day of their shoot and we even got some thunder and lighting, but the light was oh so beautiful the whole time (and thankfully it didn’t rain at all once we got there!)

One of the best parts about social media for me running a business is getting the chance to learn a bit about my couples before we ever officially meet in person. I get to follow along on their wedding planning journey and connect with them about whatever they share! In Melissa and Ricky’s case, I’ve seen all about their animals. At their shoot I learned that they actually have 39 (and counting) animals at home, including 2 house pigs! Melissa even texted me the day after their engagement session to tell me the funniest story about one of their pigs eating his own birthday banner, which I thought was the most wholesome thing ever!

Melissa and Ricky were supposed to get married in 2023, but when an opportunity came up at their dream venue for the end of 2022- they couldn’t say no. After this sweet Spring Stoney Creek engagement, I am so excited to get Melissa and Ricky (and their sweet pups) in front of my camera again this November for their Holly Vault wedding!

The love these two share is so evident in every shot of them! I could go on forever about how sweet and fun this spring Stoney Creek Engagement session was, but I’ll let you see for yourselves! Until next time!
