Everything about Jackie and Ciara’s downtown Christmas engagement session makes me so excited for their September wedding next year! Their engagement session actually almost took place right at the end of the fall in a super naturey and beach setting. After we had to reschedule and then fall leaves were completely gone, we ended up downtown and I am SO glad we did! 

After posing a fake family photo shoot last year, Ciara proposed to Jackie and then Jackie popped the question just a few days later while they were decorating their Christmas tree (which I think is so sweet and comes full circle back fo their downtown Christmas engagement session in front of the huge Christmas tree!!)

Being able to walk around and explore some new spots with these two was so much fun. Between the Christmas decor all around downtown Detroit and these two in front of my camera, I could’ve stayed there all night long!

Jackie and Ciara, thank you for letting me be part of your big day! I cannot wait to get you two in front of my camera again next year! Being able to photograph couples who’s love for each other is so evident it’s contagious is my favorite part of what I do and your whole session made me love my job that much more!
