When Maddie reached out to me just a few weeks ago about shooting their Halloween wedding this year, I knew I had to make it work! Even if it meant squeezing in their waterfront engagement session on a Wednesday morning. I’ll admit, I was a little wary of the lighting at 10am, but when the clouds rolled in while we were on the beach it was all worth it!

I’m so excited to be sharing Maddie and Mike’s engagement session for so many reasons. This one was extra sweet because they’re expecting in April and we got to capture some of that too! I may be a little extra excited too because Maddie’s due date is my wedding date and I thought that was super cool.

The whole time Maddie and Mike were so much fun and so beyond easy to pose. Their love is so evident I can’t even wait to shoot their Halloween wedding in a few weeks! When Maddie told me they were going for a super non traditional wedding I was sold. I can’t wait to see it come to life and to get to work with these two again!

Maddie and Michael, thanks for letting me capture this huge part of your lives! Enjoy your last few weeks being engaged! I’ll see you both soon!
