Tori and Justin’s Michigan barn wedding was the perfect start to this Fall wedding season! Mr. and Dr. Pruitt tied the knot last weekend surrounded by their closest friends and family, and Lord of the Rings!

One of my favorite things is when my couple’s incorporate something they love into their day. Tori and Justin killed it by incorporating Justin’s favorite series, Lord of the Rings in so many amazing but subtle ways throughout the day. My favorite was definitely the flowers in the bouquets made out of pages from the Lord of the Rings books! It was so thoughtful and creative and tied everything back to what the day is supposed to be about.

Besides the little Lord of the Rings theme going on, another recurring theme throughout Tori and Justin’s wedding day was the “friend zone”. Seeing these two interact and by looking at their pictures you’d never know Tori apparently friend zoned Justin for a while! As someone who friend zoned my fiancé for a while too, I can say from experience that those types of relationships are the best. It was so evident that Tori and Justin are past that zone and clearly so in love from building their relationship from the ground up.

Plus, only a relationship built on solid ground could go so smoothly after the groom accidentally splatters dark blue paint on the bride’s wedding dress. Right after the ceremony! Yes… that happened. And yes we all laughed it off and still got amazing pictures!

When Tori sent me a picture of her dress a few months ago my jaw literally dropped. Tori and Justin rocked the twirl pose at their engagement session, so it was only natural I had them do it in her beautiful gown. Let me just say, the twirl in this dress did not disappoint!

Watching Tori and Justin together surrounded by everyone they love filled my heart up all day long. This Jackson Michigan barn Wedding was definitely one for the books! The venue, scenery, décor, and of course the bride were so stunning! I’m so excited to be sharing all of my favorites from this sweet fall wedding.
