Alex and Savannah’s traditional catholic Michigan wedding was a long time coming. After being postponed a whole year, these two finally got to say “I do” earlier this month in Shelby Township. It was well worth the wait for all the people getting down on the dance floor alone!
I’ve been lucky enough to work with this amazing family a handful of times now. But their wedding day definitely took the cake as my favorite! From their sweet boy Luca being such a big part of the day, to the beautiful catholic church and banquet hall (with all white walls and ceilings!) and of course the stunning bride, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to photograph!
Of all the little moments on their wedding day, one of my favorites was Savannah’s first dance with Luca. And it wasn’t even the actual dancing with Luca that was my favorite! (Even though he had a super cute jig going for a minute.) My favorite part was actually when Savannah was left alone on the dancefloor in the middle of the song when Luca ran off. It was so sweet to watch Alex be right there to step right in and dance with his new bride. And it really showed their commitment to each other as a couple, parents, and now husband and wife.
I could go on and on about Savannah’s dress (and stunning makeup that is always on point), the tributes to her mom sprinkled throughout the day, all the perfect details, and the love so obviously shared by Alex and Savannah. But for now, I’ll leave you with a bunch of my favorites from this beautiful Catholic Michigan wedding day!
