I headed all the way to the thumb to Bad Axe, Michigan for Hannah and Ryan’s golf club wedding at Verona Hills Golf Club a few weekends ago. I knew that it was going to be a good one as soon as Hannah told me we’d be able to use the golf carts to get around for pictures. We had the whole course to explore for picture spots, but ended up mostly using the gorgeous willow tree that was in the background of Hannah and Ryan’s intimate ceremony.

As soon as I got to the venue Hannah had the biggest smile on her face and it never left. The getting ready room was super calm with just her and her mom helping each other get ready. It was the perfect spot for some detail shots and pictures of Hannah’s amazing pink wedding dress!

One of my favorite parts of the day was Hannah’s first look with her dad. Before it happened Hannah warned me that he’d get emotional and boy he did not disappoint. It was so sweet to see his reaction to his only girl all dolled up on her wedding day.

Wedding days for me usually fly by, but this one went by so fast. I can’t even imagine how it felt for Hannah and Ryan! I mean seriously the whole way home I just kept thinking how fast the day went. I’m so glad we made sure to build in some alone time to Hannah and Ryan’s timeline. After their husband and wife portraits, they got to spend some time together before being introduced to the reception. Which by the way is something I can’t recommend to my couples enough!
