Jayln and Nick’s beach wedding last weekend was one of the sweetest most genuine weddings I’ve ever gotten to capture. There were happy tears all day from Nick, Jayln, their families and their friends. Every time someone got choked up, the love Jayln and Nick have and the love their families have for them was so evident it even brought tears to my eyes a few times.

I think my favorite part of the whole day was Jayln and Nick’s first touch. Like a lot of couples, they wanted to save their first look for the moment Jayln walked down the aisle. The first touch was the first time all day Jayln and Nick were alone together, and it was so sweet.

After their short and sweet beach ceremony, we took some of my favorite husband and wife portraits to date (White Claws in hand and all) before the newly weds joined their family and friends for their reception full of games, drinks, dancing, and some really good barbecue!

There’s 2 distinct things I remember back in the Fall when we did Jayln and Nick’s engagement pictures. First, that it was the first snow of the year. And second, that these two struggled hard to nail the dip pose. Let me tell you, their wedding was a complete 180! It was one of the hottest days so far, and they killed the dip every single time! You’ll have to check out the pictures to see what I mean.

I could go on forever about all the little moments throughout the day that touched my heart. One of the best parts about being a wedding photographer is getting to be a fly on the wall for all the little intimate moments. Jayln and Nick’s beach wedding day was so full of them. The love they share was so evident and shows in every single shot of them together.
